Once your WhatsApp Business account is connected, you can use the BETA WhatsApp integration to send messages directly through WhatsApp, available on the Enterprise tier and above.
This can be configured within the Transactional and Automation Builder, allowing you to deliver confirmations, reminders, and other key communications via WhatsApp instead of email.
How to Set Up an Integration in BETA
Set up powerful integrations to automate your workflows.
Navigate to the Settings » Integrations page in the BETA dashboard.
Click WhatsApp.
Select your business profile and WhatsApp number.
You can initiate the process of creating a WhatsApp Business portfolio and phone number directly from BETA. Once your account is approved, you’ll need to re-link it in the integrations page.
Currently, BETA automatically selects the first WhatsApp number attached to your account. If you would like to use a different number, please send us the ID of the number you want to use.
Yes, you can use supported template variables such as climber_first, gym_name, climber_email, and gym_url.
Please note that number variables are not supported.
Go to the Transactional Message Config in BETA, select WhatsApp under the action section, enter your template ID, and save.
Before sending messages, create templates in your WhatsApp Business Manager.
You can use name template variables, but number variables are not supported.
Current supported variables in BETA:
climber_first
gym_name
climber_email
gym_url (your gym’s website as configured in BETA)
Go to the transactional message configuration in BETA.
Open the Action section and select WhatsApp.
Enter the template ID from WhatsApp Manager.
Click Save.
