This feature is available to gyms on the Business Tier and above.
Areas and circuits can be used to filter climbs or to display information about the location and appearance of your climbs in the climbers’ app.
An Area corresponds to an area in your climbing gym, these will add area filters on the BETA app, or if on the Business Tier and above, would be visible on your gym map.
A Circuit is a diverse group of routes of approximately the same level or grade, eg the Easy circuit from V0-V1, and Beginner Circuit V2-V3 etc.
Note:
If a name for a circuit is set, the name will obscure the grade in the climbers’ app.
If the name is a space, no value will be shown in the grade box.
If left empty, the raw grade will show in the climbers’ app.

Yes, setting only a custom HEX colour for your circuit will display only the colour in the app.
BETA limits the character length for your areas and circuits. Please enter a shorter name, or use abbreviations.
Shorter names assist with clarity and readability in the BETA app.
From your BETA dashboard you can control the colour and name of your areas and circuits.
