Gift cards (also called vouchers in BETA) are a flexible way to offer store credit to customers.
You can create fixed-value gift cards or provide an entry field for customers to choose their own amount.
Gift cards are sold as products through the POS and should be linked to a visitor profile. If no profile is linked, BETA will assign the gift card to the logged-in account by default.
Managing Gift Cards (Vouchers) in the POS

Below are the two approaches for setting up gift cards in BETA.
Allow your customers to set a custom value for their gift card.
To do this create a gift card product with a $0.01 base price. If sold online or on the POS, the purchaser can enter their desired value.
Fixed-value gift cards let you control the available denominations, such as $25.00, $50.00 etc. To do this create a gift card product with your desired value.
Gift cards can be created by adding them as a Price to the Gift Card Product in the Products Page. Choose between fixed values (e.g., $25.00, $50.00) or allow custom amounts by setting a base price of 0.01.
Go to Marketing > Widget Builder > Gift Card, to generate a URL or iframe for your gift cards. Ensure that you chose the correct Payment Method in the dropdown.
A 0.01 price on the Gift Card product allow for your or the purchaser online to enter a custom value for their gift card.
Ensure the gift card product's price availability is set to "Sell Online" This enables online customers to purchase it directly.
If a gift card isn't linked during purchase, it will automatically associate with the logged-in account.

Yes! Linking the gift card to a visitor profile lets you monitor its usage and remaining balance.
This can be accessed via the BETA app and via our Members Portal (Profile >> Payments).
Please note, this will only be visible to a visitor if the Gift Card has already been linked to their BETA profile. If your gift cards have been migrated from another software, these may not have been linked during migration. In such cases, visitors can claim their Gift Card with the External ID.
